Paid Survey Programs - Is It A Scam

There are many offers out there to get paid for taking surveys, getting paid for you opinion. Are these real? Can you really make money taking surveys? Lets take a look

A paid survey program works like this:

You sign up with the survey company, they send you email surveys or offers to fill out. If you complete the entire survey, you are rewarded with money, points or entries into cash drawings or sweepstakes.

Paid survey programs attract people because they seem to be an easy fast way to make money. You can make money by taking surveys but there are some things to consider before you embark on this venture.

First, there are paid survey scams out there. You have to make sure that you are signing up with a reputable agency that is going to send you surveys to fill out. You never have to give a survey agency your credit card or bank account information. The ones that are legit will pay you by check or through paypal or another online payment processor like that.

Second, know what you are going to be getting when you complete a survey. Are they going to pay you cash, or give you an entry into a drawing? What is the payment schedule. Make sure that you only sign up with agencies that pay you in the way you want to get paid. The ones who are reputable will tell you that upfront.

Third, you have to follow through. You have to check your email several times a day and take the survey as soon as it is sent out to you. This is not so hard to do because most of the surveys are short and easy to complete. But you have to be quick because, the competition is stiff and if you wait very long the survey will be closed because they have had enough people take it.

If you follow these tips you can make a good amount of money from doing online surveys. It is not necessarily easy money, but you can do it at home and in your spare time.
